In 2016, Steve Shaha was introduced internationally as “premier healthcare outcomes researcher globally in breadth and depth.” With 35+ years of studies, teaching, speaking and advisory work, Steve has addressed the needs of a long list of recognized organizations on four continents, including 11 foreign governments. He has 250+ conference presentations, 125+ peer-reviewed publications, three invited chapters internationally in 2015, and four books. Dr. Marion Ben-Jacob has a Ph.D. in theoretical mathematics and is ABD in computer science. She is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at Mercy College for over 36 years. She teaches courses in mathematics and computer science, both in the traditional classroom and online. She has published articles on, assessment, mathematics, computer science, computer ethics, pedagogy, online teaching/distance education, collaborative learning, and global learning. She is the editor and a contributing author of Integrating Computer Ethics across the Curriculum. She is the author of an e-book, Computer Ethics: Integrating across the Curriculum.

Professor David Wang, M.S,. is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Mercy College. He has led several NSF STEM and Microsoft grants totaling more than $1,000,000. He has served on the Content Advisory Committee for New York State Teacher Certification., as well on the Computer Science Review Committee for the joint ACM & IEEE 2001 Curriculum Project. As Associate Dean of School of Liberal Arts, he was a member of college-wide strategic planning committee and led the school’s academic program assessment efforts.

Wilfried Dimpfel is Honorary Professor at Justus-Liebig-University Giessen, Germany, since 1983. He is pharmacologist and got his neurophysiological education during 1973-1974 as Max Kade stipend (New York) at the NIH Bethesda from Phil Nelson. Together with Hans-Carlos Hofmann, a physicist and mathematician, he developed quantitative EEG software for research and practice. Wilfried Dimpfel is consultant and CSO at NeuroCode AG, Wetzlar, Germany. He published more than 150 papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Abraham (Rami) Rudnick is a certified psychiatrist and a PhD-trained philosopher. He is a Professor in the Section of Psychiatry at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, Lakehead University and Laurentian University, Thunder Bay and Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, as well as an Adjunct Professor at other universities in Canada. He is the Vice President of Research at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and the Chief Scientist at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Research Institute. He is a Canadian Certified Physician Executive and a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner. He is a Senior Editor of the Canadian Journal of Community Mental Health and the founder of the Canadian Unit of the International Network of a UNESCO Chair in Bioethics. He is a recipient of the pioneer award in recovery research granted by Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) / Réadaptation Psychosociale (RPS) Canada, a recipient of the Michael Smith award granted by the Schizophrenia Society of Canada, a Fellow of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, and a Distinguished Fellow and Gold Medal recipient of the European Society for Person Centered Healthcare as well the Chair of its Mental Health Special Interest Group. Much of his research addresses bioethics, mental health, social determinants of health, and use of smart technology for, with and by people who have mental health challenges.

Dr. Arcady Putilov received his PhDs (candidate and doctor of science) from the Institute of Physiology (Novosibirsk) and the Siberian Medical University (Tomsk), He’s a research group leader at the Institute for Molecular Biology and Biophysics (Novosibirsk). He’s experienced in study of rhythmic processes in physiology, biochemistry, zoology, ecology, psychology, psychiatry, and history. His other research interests include sleep regulation, personality, individual differences, evolutionary psychology, and history. He authored several hundred scientific publications including books and articles in peer reviewed international journals. He also writes for the general public about sleep, biological rhythms, mood disorders, psychology, and history of science.

Alexander Khalyavkin is the Academic Secretary of Gerontological Society of RAS (Moscow Branch), Senior Researcher of the Emanuel Institute of Biochemical Physics of RAS and Senior Researcher of the Institute for Systems Analysis of FRC CSC RAS. His Alma Mater was the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (the Russian MIT). His postgraduate training was at the Gamaleya Institute for Epidemiology and Microbiology (Moscow). He has completed his PhD in Immunology at 1980. He is author and lecturer of “Introduction to Biogerontology” for the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (1991-2000). He cooperated with the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (2001-2009). His research interests include theoretical aspects of biomedicine, biogerontology, biodemography, an effect of environmental factors on the rate of aging, and some aspects of the regulation of reproduction of normal and malignant cells. He studied non-canonical (growth control) function of the immune system and mechanism for a switching of symmetric to asymmetric mitosis in stem cells.

Agata Ciabattoni is a professor for nonclassical logics in computer science at the Faculty of Informatics of the Vienna University of Technology. In 2011 she has been awarded a START prize (the Austrian equivalent of the ERC starting grant) for her project Non classical proofs: Theory, Applications and Tools. She is working on theoretical aspects of nonclassical logics (proof theory and semantics), tools for their investigation, and applications.

Dr. Haluk Altunel is a Program Director at SoftTech A.S. He is responsible for the management of various projects including health informatics. His special focus is on mobile health area. He is also a part-time faculty in the Medical Informatics Department of Informatics Institute at Middle East Technical University. At the same time he is also a part-time faculty in the Computer Science Department of Bilkent University. He has published various articles on mobile health, biomedical imaging and sensing, project management, and agile methodologies. He is the co-author of a book on multi project management. Isabel de la Torre Díez Associate Professor in the Department of Signal Theory, Communications and Telematics Engineering at the University of Valladolid, Spain. Her teaching and research interests includes development of Telemedicine applications, e-health, m-health, EHRs (Electronic Health Records), EHR standards, biosensors, and e-services. She is leader of GTe Research Group, belonging to the also research group called SI (Information Society), GIR (Recognized Research Group) of the Engineering and Technology Area of the University of Valladolid. She is author or coauthor of more than 150 papers in SCI journals, peer-reviewed conferences proceedings, books and international book chapters. She has coauthored 14 registered innovative software. She has been involved in more than 20 Program committees of international conferences until 2015. She has participated in 32 funded European, national and regional research projects. Moreover, she is reviewer in well-known SCI journals like International Journal of Medical Informatics, Journal of Medical Systems, IET Journal, Telemedicine and e-health Journal, etc.
