Biography

Sorana D. Bolboacă, PhD Habil, is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics at the Faculty of Medicine, Iuliu Haţieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She has published more than 200 papers in scientific journals, serves as reviewer at several journals and scientific conferences. She is an executive editor at Applied Medical Informatics journal. Her research focuses on applied & computational statistics, integrated health informatics system, medical imaging analysis, assisted decision systems, ethics, best practices in knowledge translation and application, evidence-based medicine, and medical information on social media.
